Bardic Chair
This chair was awarded as a prize in a Semi-National Eisteddfod held in Cardigan in 1895. Every Eisteddfod chair is unique, and this one is attractively carved with the Town Seal used from the 17th Century onwards. Part of the seal is believed to be a depiction of the gate of Cardigan Castle, making it appropriate that the chair has found a home at the birthplace of the National Eisteddfod!
